I left in 2017 after having to spent over 10 years in the Bay Area. It was bad then and pandemic made it worse. So many closed shops on Market St/Union Square

I left in 2017 after having to spent over 10 years in the Bay Area. It was bad then and pandemic made it worse. So many closed shops on Market St/Union Square area. Walk a few blocks West and Tenderloin looks like doomsday. Lines for soup kitchens, tents, drugged-up and mentally-ill people walking like Zombies.
