Unsure if this related, but on the web, my "Following" feed is also now full of tweets from people I don't follow.

  Those are probably retweets. it no longer marks retweets as such.

    Yeah, you're right. I didn't realize there's currently a bug where retweets aren't labeled.

      I thought that's intentional, than a bug.
