Old Thinkpads are at least equally durable, though not sure about the newest generation. Been using a T520 from 2011 for a few years with Linux, no problems. M

Old Thinkpads are at least equally durable, though not sure about the newest generation. Been using a T520 from 2011 for a few years with Linux, no problems. Macbooks are great if you get a model without some serious design fault - like screen protection peeling off, or butterly keyboard breaking.
