I switched last year after being exclusively on Linux for approx 5 years. Hardware is hands down the best in terms of battery life. It's hilarious compared to pretty much anything else I have tried. Software is... Meh. But the part that really is the window management. What is there currently in mac (and Windows) is, mildly put, a joke.
