    I used to wait for the archive.ph (or similar) link to be posted too. But it's actually really easy, if you encounter a paywalled article copy the URL, go to https://archive.ph https://archive.ph, paste it into the second URL field and submit. Not sure why it took me so long to actually just go to the root URL and try it myself but at least now I know :D

        Archive.org, archive.is etc have been around for eons. Don't worry.
