I always thought "intelligence" was defined as the capacity to learn. Websters' first definition of "intelligence": > capacity for learning, reasoning, understanding, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relationships, facts, meanings, etc. seems to partially bear that out. Its not clear what definition Microsoft is using, but I don't see any real learning going on here. These models are painstakingly hand-trained by lots of humans over a significant period of time. The model itself is not "learning" anything, the humans are.
