Sounds like an update to federal law is in order, at the very least tying that number to inflation (or perhaps to corporate profits?).
- SauciestGNU 4y agoOr maybe each offense should be redefined as each shift worked, or per hour worked. $15k per illegal shift is a lot more than $15k total.
