Emotional regulation issues / mood swings are definitely associated with ADHD. I'll echo what another commenter wrote, vyvanse definitely has changed my life for the better. At the moment I'm not taking it due insurance but I plan to get back on it when my insurance changes. I'd recommend you seek treatment with a professional. CBT can do wonders too.
