Thanks. The getting a job part is turning out to be quite difficult but I'm actively looking.

  It took me 2 years to find a job that I really liked (and remotely, I'm in Europe too) and during that time I made sure to have a job that paid the bills and spent a lot of time on learning more stuff and doing side projects. The side projects didn't go anywhere but they sure where a learning experience. Keep it up and try not to judge yourself too much - constructively critisise and not overwhelm yourself.
