The point is:

The main pitch is somewhat hidden in the middle of the article. Its a tough point to open with, but I think leading with the thesis statement is proper.
- oneoff786 4y agoI think it’s also intentionally misleading though. It’s not dying at home. It’s riding out the rest of your days under detailed medical supervision which presumably intervenes and prevents you from dying.
- lotsofpulp 4y agoAnd it is written by a geriatric nurse practitioner, so presumably they would benefit. Not that it would necessarily be inappropriate.
