- evansjp 4y agoI'm actually looking for any way to improve Harvester. Finding product-market fit is SO hard, so please let me know what you hate, love, would love to see.

People often just go to Google/Maps and look at what's around. Sorry to link this, but it reminds me of [1] this YouTube video by YCombinator warning about these kinds of apps. Anyway, I do love the original style used on the site, and it's obvious that you care about the product, so I wish you luck in finding product-market fit! - evansjp 4y agoThanks for the video--watched it. Dalton and Michael are definitely right that Discovery ideas are limited because their bound to finite discovery (only so many restaurants open tonight, etc). I'll start thinking of the optimal pivot from here, thanks again for the recommendation! Helped a lot.
- bruceb 4y agoCool. Might want to add box to enter a zip code for people who don't want to share their location via their browser.
- evansjp 4y agoYep you're right on there. That's been the most popular complaint--working to add that right now!
- mapster 4y agoVery nice! My initial thought is to specialize by solving a material sourcing problem for a niche industry and not general consumer.
