- dsfyu404ed 4y agoYes that's the origin of it but why stick with 7? 7 is a shitty prime number and makes slicing and dicing into fractions of weeks hard. It doesn't work perfectly with the lunar calendar either. The point is that there is inherent value in having an adopted standard.
