As a high-earning & tax paying immigrant in UK, it seems it is much easier to come to UK illegally than by legal means. It is getting harder to get a PR.
Cost of living, rise in taxes and degradation in Govt services (e.g NHS) really has got me thinking whether staying in UK is really worth it.
- raincom 4y agoWell, for almost all educated people in the third world, UK passport is worth it; for that matter, any Western passport. After getting the citizenship, sure, they can move to Dubai or anywhere else. Having a Nigerian passport or an Indian passport doesn't make it easy to get a tourist visa to the western countries.
