And to spicy things up a bit, european countries enjoy dominating one another with petty politics. There is some cooperation for show but by and large it’s mainly driven by old age colonialism without wars. Cross border cultural friction means slow adoption of innovation between countries. Just look at east europe where innovative tech companies do better on the us market than its own eu home market.
