- throwaway0asd 4y agoIs there supposed to be controversy in this?
- 8f2ab37a-ed6c 4y agoThere was when 37Signals and Coinbase did it. The tech web talked about nothing else. Two years later nobody cares.
- sn0w_crash 4y agoGood. Work should be about work. Keep those conversations on Facebook.
- smt88 4y ago> * Keep those conversations on Facebook.* I don't know if you see the irony here, but personal Facebook bleeds into professional Facebook for people at Meta.
- sn0w_crash 4y agoYes that was the joke.
- jleyank 4y agoDoes this include hr and medical benefits? The first and third are legitimate discussions with hr/benefits people and coworkers: where to get them, amount of coverage, vesting before full health insurance kicks in, coverage of travel costs based on job location, etc. It ain’t politics when medical issues appear. And a whole lotta people don’t like being treated like a child. Edit: to be fair, this policy should also ban discussions of religion, politics, guns, …. Would be simpler to list what can be discussed at a work site or on work devices.
