- threatofrain 4y agoI was hoping with Elon granting "amnesty" that my account would get unbanned, but unfortunately my accounts remain banned for no obvious reason despite just about never being used and the appeal option being broken. Now I've just given up hope. Kind of frustrating because some of my favorite streamers use Twitter to announce their impromptu streaming. Anyways, all platforms ban people, even Hacker News. If free speech depends on private money paying for fancy engineers and infrastructure around the world, then there's something strangely expensive about your free speech. Which begs the question of just who is paying for this free speech (advertisers).
