  Author loads full size images which are just shrinked instead loading thumbnails and then writes article about website design.

    It’s not ironic nor hypocritical unless they lambasted others who did the same. I can’t be bothered to do all sorts of things on a personal blog/project that I might do on a paid/commercial venture. Their response is probably “yeah that’d be cool but meh”.
