This may work for somebody who has an anxiety disorder, but that's not what the OP is talking about. He's basically talking about stage fright. It's a physiological reaction to "performing".
- DoesntMatter22 4y agoIt's hard to say what his actual issue is. A lot of the reason performing has a physiological reaction is because you are afraid of failing, or afraid of looking dumb. If you get more comfortable with failing and looking dumb than your stress will go down. I used to be deathly afraid of public speaking. But I assume I'll bomb (though I usually don't) and I'm okay with that. It's fine, people make mistakes. Now I don't have an issue with it. You still have some adrenaline so you can perform well but you don't have the dread.
