Are you lonely doing this out there on your own? and are you sad to be outside the great game, so to speak, that maybe less smart, and certainly far less virtuous men will outcompete you on by merely showing up? I'm a woman trying to figure out the different natures of men that are drawn to go live in the woods, it's really hard to tell apart the Walden types from the Kaszynski types (as I rambled about here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32681450 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32681450) and come to think of it, neither of those men had children... maybe there's a tiny sliver of deadness in both those ways of being, idk

Total long shot here, but I was reading your comment here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33759326 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33759326 and really enjoyed the keen insight on the situation which inspired me to read more from you. Next I downloaded the book Focusing by Eugene Gendlin on your recommendation. Then I went further and saw this comment and the comment you linked to here and what you're looking for.   I only saw this two months after this thread locked... I've put my email in my profile if you still want to say hello P.s. there were no google results for your username but I kinda suspect "ihoafw" likely stands for In Hopes Of A Future Wife, not sure how I feel about that on a 3 year old account ;)

They have to come into town at some point for food, gas, liquor, and maybe ammo or the steakhouse. At least the ones who do come in, you don't have to worry about; the ones who don't ever come in, perhaps one should.
