I built https://www.workast.com https://www.workast.com with similar motivations, but our go-to-market strategy was to focus on teams that use Slack to communicate, and we still do today. While there is tons of competition out there, the market is big enough for all of us to share. It is a bumpy ride but today we are a profitable business. All the best!
