This isn't a very good rebuttal.
Most of the metrics mentioned are essentially unknowable or even subjective.
The overall point was that there are a lot of problems but we are not fundamentally changing the structure of society to address them.
- maxerickson 4y agoI guess bigotry is subjective (for one thing you can always disagree whether a particular attitude is bigoted). Hunger measures tend to not be particularly subjective, and progress reducing them is good whether it is structural or not.
