If you're on an iOS device with a 120hz ("ProMotion") display, you'll have to go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features, turn off "Prefer Page Rendering Updates near 60fps", and turn on "Web Animations custom frame rate" to experience the animations at full fidelity.
