  It doesn't seem so. While not immediately clear, this article doesn't seem to be claiming ownership of the project. It is a third-party review/introduction. They link to the project after the first section.

  I get the impression that she packaged it for OpenBSD and wrote this as an intro to the shell for others. The 'written by Solene' bit reads initially as though she's claiming to have written Nushell, but when reading the text, it's pretty clear she didn't: > With nushell, it feels like I finally have a better tool to create more reliable, robust, portable and faster command pipelines. The learning curve didn't feel too hard, but maybe it's because I'm already used to functional programming.

  > I packaged it for OpenBSD, so it's available on -current (and will be in releases after 7.3 is out), the port could be used on 7.2 with no effort. I think this is what makes it sound like the author of the article is the author of nushell. My first reading led me to believe the same, but she is "only" responsible for the OpenBSD package.
