For all the hype around these systems currently, it’s nice to see some places where it doesn’t work.
- kristopolous 4y agoThese AI systems create effectively dreamscapes. Apparently dream characters can't do math in lucid dreams. I think these systems are best understood as similar to the 9 portrait drawings by that guy on LSD from the 1950s. They seem to be able to simulate some forms of consciousness well such as deep sleep and psychosis and be completely oblivious to others
