There was a quite a difficult math course at my university, the solution they found was to split the course into two courses. Seemed liked a sensible solution. When I read articles like this I feel there must be more to the story if both sides are so dug in that they cannot find an amicable solution. It should be noted too that this an opinion piece and the author seems quick to blame this on racial diversity quotas.
