Having any skill at chess outside of just knowing the rules of the game has piqued my interest multiple times, but it seems like a daunting undertaking and dedication just to become mediocre in the game.
- WastingMyTime89 4y agoIt will bring you little apart from a new pastime but for historical reasons it’s more socially acceptable than getting good at Fortnight. Still you should definitely go for it if you find playing chess enjoyable.
