Then you just get modern warfare miniaturized. I guess that could be fun to watch if well presented, but I've been thinking it would be cool to just have a bigger, more rugged battlebox that demands more versatile movement, rather then having everyone just trying to hug the metal floor as closely as possible.
- JoeAltmaier 4y agoReally? Machine guns and flamethrowers you 'guess' could be fun to watch? I'd rather watch that, than a glorified pancake flipper. But never mind us. Do we imagine there isn't a market for battle robot shows with grenades and machine guns? Do it in an arena, and there you are: a hit show. Put cameras on all the bots so we can get into the action. {edit: arena}
- riku_iki 4y agothey will shoot each other from half mile distance, I don't think it will be interesting show.

- MonkeyMalarky 4y agoA larger arena, possibly outside in a field or rocky-ish desert area with 5v5 battles would be a lot more interesting. The large team sizes would spice up the plain old spinner vs flipper dynamic. The cameras filming it could just be drones following the battle from above.
- JoeAltmaier 4y agoPlus POV cameras on every bot! They're cheap, and imagine the view from a tank as it fires plus the view as it hits! And the view from the target as it takes the hit. Lots of action!
