Maybe it’s a good strategy to saturate the market with your owns products. Like L'Oréal and its 3000 brands that fill the supermarkets.

      There is such a negative reaction on Adobe buying Figma exactly because Adobe has terrible track record here. They are more likely to cannibalize the product they acquire in order to kill competition to their existing offer. Figma offered much more for free compared to Adobe products.
