This post is really difficult to read due to the weird metaphor, which is unfortunate because it seems otherwise interesting.
- Jasper_ 4y agoThere are two competing GPU drivers. One of them was winning a benchmark. Now the other one, which Mike works on, is winning a benchmark. Mostly through not doing work you don't need to do, and ALWAYS_INLINE (inline heuristics in most compilers are really simple and usually pretty awful).
