What an incredibly superficial article. The second (of just two) factors they 'examine' - that working from home could be expected to introduce new efficiencies by eliminating the commute and improving work-life balance - they suggest that this gain in productivity may not be realized because "[a]t home people might be able to focus more on “deep work”; they are also able to spend more time walking the dog". Incredible that this type of worthless filler article even gets published on The Economist.
