Well it's a start but what about not showing fake news in the first place? Or blocking ads from sites that post fake news?
- smt88 4y agoThey can't stop showing fake news because they can't detect it algorithmically and have no interest in building a massive human organization to fact-check manually. All US platforms are also scared of aggressively moderating their platforms because it can be used to argue that they should lose Section 230 or DMCA protections.
