It's not really bitcoin-like other than the fact the store is append only. There aren't any DAGs in SK. There aren't really any DAGs in the bitcoin blockchain either (correction: bitcoin transactions - not blocks - do actually form a DAG). There is a tree with a single "correct" path that everyone eventually agrees on (the one which had the most work/computation go into it).
