Ask HN: What’re the most customer centric companies?
I want to learn about what are some companies that either go above and beyond for their customers, or/and consistently deliver a very customer focused experience. All of this while succeeding at their business at scale.
- aynyc 4y agoPatagonia. Nothing comes close to them even if you don’t like their politics.
- aroc 4y agoFeels like the first company to study is Amazon. They are super customer focused and they have actual content out there you can find where they talk about it in detail and what it means. In the early days of Amazon they kept an empty seat in meetings to represent “the voice of the customer”, that’s how hardcore they were about it.
- ffhhj 4y agoThey can't get packages on time, and destroyed search results, doesn't seem customer centric anymore.
- sgtnoodle 4y agoOne of the core cultural values at Zipline is "customer obsession". That means many things. There's the actual business customers of course, but a customer is anyone that depends on your work. The engineering team's customers include the flight operators, for example.
