I get a web page with the company logo and nothing else.

  Me too, I was just about to disable ublock but then I realised there was stuff below the page of whitespace.

  Scroll down a bit. There's a space for adverts that is set to take up the whole height of the window, and only gets resized when the advert loads in. If you've got an adblocker on, it never gets resized.
