I can’t take an article seriously when it purposefully ignores what’s happened in the last three years because it negates the point it’s trying to make.
- foobarian 4y agoWeasel words. Should have said "In other words, stocks did 10 times better than real estate... if you bought and sold at those exact times". It's easy to cherrypick these high and low marks to prove whatever point you need.
- jfk13 4y agoThe article is dated 2019, so it's not a case of "purposefully ignores what's happened"; the last three years hadn't happened yet!
