However 'myopic' is certainly used metaphorically. This is one of those cases where you just have to read the article.
- mattnewton 4y agoI would find “Near sightedness less ambiguous, in American English at least. I can’t remember having heard that used for anything other than a physical difficulty to focus your eyes at longer distances.
