The largest percentage of cell phone users in the world will never have used a landline and never will.
It's a big mistake thinking that every new emerging economy has to go through the same industrialization steps in the same way as the last one.

- akarambir 15y agoi'm of different opinion. I'm from india and haven't got any landline connection till now but have 3 mobile phones in my home. And thats same going to happen to many people who hadn't have access to any desktop computer or laptop. They'll get a tablet straight away. This will surely benefit them.
