CDK outputs CloudFormation templates that you can pass to any other tool if you wish. CDK is technically just a glorified shim over CFN (although 1000x better but you do get caught in the awkwardness that is CFN many times).
- throwaway894345 4y agoIt does, but very indirectly which defeats the point of "just emit YAML". I regret phrasing it that way as it seems to have caused a lot of confusion. See my responses to sibling comments for more information.
