Disappointed by the result of billions of inanimate particles bonding and forming not only self-replicating structures, but adapting to continually self-replicate and iterate on successful/unsuccessful changes?
I’m not disappointed, I’m amazed. Amazed that over the course of several billion years these inanimate particles and structures have progressed to such a point that we can even ponder them and express our disappointment in them.
