    There is a threat about Elon dumping his shares if he doesn't get his way.[0] Elon has been known to pump and dump various things. Look at what happened to Bitcoin when Tesla announced they would no longer be accepting it. He is essentially saying take this offer or I am going to tank your share price. “If the deal doesn’t work, given that I don’t have confidence in management nor do I believe I can drive the necessary change in the public market, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder,” said Musk.

      Yes exactly this
