There’s billions upon billions of people, any motivated actor could have access to millions of people (Worldcoin have access to 500,000 and it only cost them 25 WRLD each!).
There’s already a black market for this sort of fraud, so this isn’t theoretical, Uber have a lot of problems with it.
- gfodor 4y agoSure, but it's zero sum. It's a bounded amount of skew in the distribution that's innate in any system that is subject to vulnerabilities that have a high return on violence. This isn't the same as generating people, which is what I said is basically the main thing worldcoin is trying to prevent.
