That account still spews misinformation, encourages continued invasions of Ukraine, and condones violence responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians. These are in direct violation of Twitter ToS but they only enforce that when its politically convenient.
- rsynnott 4y agoFor better or for worse (personally I think it's for worse, but I am not King of Twitter), Twitter has (formally) adopted a policy of extremely high tolerance to the twitter accounts of public bodies and government officials. Note that Trump lasted until there were legitimate questions over whether he was using it to encourage the violent occupation of a government building, rather than being evicted years ago like anyone normal would have for the sort of things he said on a daily basis.
