Japanese man shows up and ‘does nothing.’ He’s made a living out of it
- qiskit 5y agoJapanese costanza.
- sorokod 5y agoTruly so, I can totally visualize George Costanza just sitting there and nodding.
- 8bitsrule 5y agoCognitive therapist.
- a9h74j 5y agoMy new business model: I will pair program with you but not really. You can explain your thoughts and I will sometimes nod approvingly. And ask about my rates for taking all the blame!
- andrei_says_ 5y agoThis actually has high value, especially if you include asking meaningful questions.

- boudin 5y agoAre you a rubber duck?
- a9h74j 5y agoMy pronouns can be anything you want them to be.
- jsiaajdsdaa 5y agoSounds like many people I know these days. Very hard to trust others to do things correctly.
- alucart 5y agoPaywalled... I wonder if there is a way to avoid such posts.

- Gunax 5y agoI know there are ways around it, but I find that objectionable. Newspapers are certainly free to charge for their content. I just don't understand why it's so expensive. A single newspaper should not cost as much as Netflix.
- ludsan 5y ago> A single newspaper should not cost as much as Netflix. Why?
- Gunax 4y agoI find it difficult to believe that operating a major newspaper is as expensive as licensing a film catalog. Admittedly I have no specialty on either and could be completely wrong. I also know many papers are local, where as films tend to have a broad audience. I think there has to be a better way. News is definitely ripe for innovation just like Apple and Spotify did to music. I end up finding articles from the whatever paper is local to Lincoln NB and I think they deserve to get paid. But sorry: I am not subscribing to the Lincoln Herald or Brisbane Times or whatever local paper just because I happened to end up on one of your articles from 4 years ago through a search. There has to be a better way.
- crossroadsguy 5y agoActually Netflix, with all the garbage (most of the catalogue) on it (especially the N branded formula ones), must not cost anywhere close to a single newspaper!
