  I think you missed where they said they created a throwaway account (suggesting they've got a regular one they don't want downvoted into oblivion), and even named the account throwaway_foo (all pretty much the standard on HN afaics). If you are looking for a propaganda troll, you are likely barking at the wrong tree.

    > they don't want downvoted into oblivion I don't expect people to care too much abut that, because even if you get a thousand of downvotes, your karma is reduced only by -4. I think the problem is that risk that the comment may cause people to report it to Facebook and get her/him deplataformed, or report it to the employer and get her/him fired using the employment at will. The chilling effect is real.
