Interesting to me that Shackelton and the Endurance keep popping up on HN. I happened to read "South" some years ago and it had a big impact on me as someone who loves the outdoors. I just didn't expect it to keep popping up in a technology focussed community. Yet I can see the appeal. The sheer determination of Shackelton and crew should be inspiring to all people.
