You can look at CoD and similar games as being very basic introductory material to military ground operations - building a surprising amount of intuition from a young age. It's also useful as a propaganda & recruitment tool.
- Sporktacular 5y agoIt has been sooo cringy watching gamers try analyse actual military operations with zero competence, self-awareness, humility or respect for what is really at stake.

- HideousKojima 5y agoAlso CoD and Battlefield aren't going to teach real tactics. Arma is the closest you'll get to what "real" war is like, but even that mostly forgets that logistics is about 90% of winning a war.
