We spent so much time studying Mesopotamia in elementary school... but essentially NEVER heard of it after that.
So strange.
- Tagbert 5y agoIt did come up in the news when Saddam Hussein was deposed and then lots of people were raiding museums and ancient dig sites for artifacts to sell on the black market. Otherwise, it really depends on if you read anything about history, language, writing, etc.
