Make things work in the common-most use-cases, for power users and novices. I think there's a lack of respect shown to people who have difficult, edge-case, real problems to solve, like batch receiving orders while being forced into narrow pagination and sparse layouts suitable only for casual customers. Usable search and bulk actions are needed in more contexts than originally assumed. 2. If someone asks for it, there could be 100 who didn't speak-up but also want it. 3. Organize and explain settings succinctly. 4. Have a reset to defaults option.
