The Right needs to read up on this and take it into account. People on the right generally do not riot or loot (1/6/21 is an outlier), as it goes against a tendency to uphold law and order, and from a recognition that individuals and businesses (many privately owned, and many of them struggling) are the actual victims. However, if it really is an effective tool for gaining a political advantage, it should be considered in that light. One of the biggest issues with it being adopted by the Right, however, is that the press will cover it very differently than when political violence comes from the Left, due to predominant biases in the media. Perception is reality in terms of public opinion. If a riot is meant to persuade opinion, but is re-framed and re-shaped by media, then it can do more harm than good.
