I don't believe their property taxes are 10%. $50,000 per year on a $500,000 home? Come on
- sgerenser 5y agoAccording to the article, most houses are more like $50-$100k, but 10% would still be a very high property tax rate.
- beowulfey 5y agoYou’re right, I looked it up— it’s only 1.41%, I must have misread that chart myself. My state, they can go up to 7.5% so I didn’t really think too hard about it, but I think I’m desensitized to how crazy high that is…
